Infantry are the first troops available to the governor of a newly-founded city. They are trained and upgraded in the Barracks. Several commanders have the ability to specialize their talents to boost the effectiveness of infantry, including Richard I​, Charles Martel​, Eulji Mundeok​, Sun Tzu​, and City Keeper​.

Warrior – Tier 1


One of the earliest military units. Relies on brute force and is usually equipped with primitive weapons.
