Revision as of 22:27, 17 December 2018
VIP in Rise of Civilizations provides your city with passive statistical advantages to your city, increasing with each VIP Level. You can collect resource and speed up rewards every day which also adjust with the VIP Level. You can also collect 200 VIP Points every day which will grow your VIP level.
The VIP Shop is unlocked after building the Shop at City Hall level 5 and allows you to purchase some items at a reduced gem cost, depending on your VIP level.
Rewards
The following tables outline the benefits of each VIP level. Due to width constraints, it is listed in two separate tables.
This first table lists the total number of VIP points required to reach that level (cumulative) and describes the production bonuses to resource buildings within the city (Farm, Lumber Mill, Quarry, and Goldmine). The production bonuses do not increase the storage capacity of these buildings, so they will become full more quickly when not emptied.

15 | 1,000,000 | +50% | +50% | +50% | +50% |
This second table lists each of the bonuses applied to gathering, action points, building, researching, training, hospitals, and troops. A legend can be viewed by hovering over the column header (PC/Mac browsers) or viewed below the table (mobile browsers).
Note: A permanent second builder queue is unlocked upon reaching VIP 6 (not shown in the table below). This eliminates the need to use Builder Recruitment items every 2 days to maintain a second queue. As a result, many players recommend unlocking VIP level 6 by investing with gems earned through the normal course play, such as main line advancement quests and city hall upgrade rewards.
Few free-to-play users generally continue past VIP 6, though VIP 7 unlocks the ability to buy much more cost-effective Speedups through the VIP Shop.

VIP Chests
Each VIP level allows the collection of two chests.
The Free Every Day chest is available for collection once any time between 0:00:00 UTC and 23:59:59 UTC. When a Free Every Day Chest is available for collection, a red dot will appear in the top left-hand corner of the game when in city view or map view, near the VIP icon and rank.
The Special Privileges Chest is can only be purchased once per VIP level. These chests may be purchased from lower ranks at any time, even after upgrading VIP level, provided they have not already been purchased.
